Rosohotrybolovsouz was established in 1958, thus next year it will celebrate its 50-th anniversary. It is the largest world non-commercial organization which unites hunters and fishermen from 76 subjects of the Russian Federation. There is no such town or region where there are no clubs belonging to the association. At the moment the association has 2270 hunting & fishing lands, the area is 208 million ha (13, 87% of all the hunting area of Russia). There are 4 thousand hunting & fishing complexes in the association which the Russian people can enjoy. More than 9 thousand of staff members of Rosohotrybolovsouz as well as thousands of freelancers are constantly working in order to save and enlarge the animal world in our forests, meadows, rivers and lakes. They struggle against the poachers, annually grow up and set free more than 15 thousand hunting animals and birds, millions of young fish.
