The chief of the federal agency on the physical culture and sports is Vjatcheslav Fetisov.

The federal agency on the physical culture and sports is the federal body of the executive power which is established to execute the functions upon the providing of the state policy, regulations, providing of the state services (including anti-doping campaign) and managing the state property in the sphere of the physical culture and sports.

The activity of the federal agency on the physical culture and sports is managed by the Government of the Russian Federation.

The federal agency on the physical culture and sports is following the principles of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the federal constitutional laws, the federal laws, the acts signed by the President of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Russian Federation, the international agreements of the Russian federation, as well as the current Provision.

The federal agency on the physical culture and sports is acting within full cooperation with the other federal bodies of the executive power of the subjects of the Russian Federation, the bodies of the local self-administration, non — governmental organizations and other organizations.
